This website is used to promote the work of North Tyneside Art Studio and to display some of the projects undertaken by the studio's artists.

Why was the original site replaced? The original site was replaced as it was felt that it was too slow and some visitors found this off putting. The Art Studio want everyone to be able to use and enjoy this site so it was re-designed with speed as the main criteria. As a result, larger images which were responsible for the speed issues are now optional. Most of the images on the site have to ability to be clicked on and a larger, more detailed version of the image will be displayed. Please be aware that some of the alternative images have large file sizes and the time to download and display them will vary according to your Internet connection speed.

All of the images are the copyright of the original artist and are reproduced here with permission.

Both the press release and gallery pages will grow over the coming months.
