The studio can develop and manage multi-agency projects. Recent examples are, working with North Tyneside City Challenge to provide an Artist in Residence for Longbenton housing estate, and with the local Health Action Zone to encourage more referrals from GPs.

It can act as an agency for commissions which might be undertaken by individual artists, such as a collaboration with the Metro operators for a commission for a local station. There are many skills available, such as working in metal, glass, textiles, painting and ceramics
